The Name

Polaris — the star that holds its place

POLARIS is the North Star. As the night sky turns around it, Polaris stays almost fixed — which is why, for centuries, it has shown sailors and travellers the way.

We chose the name to be that for our travellers: a point you can trust in unfamiliar places, a journey where trust comes before splendour. Our symbol joins a diamond, for prestige, with a compass, for finding the way.

The Society

One community, gathered by travel

Just as a university Advanced Management Program brings people together through learning, POLARIS builds a single community through travel.

Membership is capped at 200 — a size at which members know one another by name and face.

In the founding period VRUM KOREA invites the first members; thereafter, admission is reviewed by the members’ association.
